Sister Creek Vineyards is a historic winery located in Sisterdale (about 12 miles north of Boerne in Texas Hill Country). It was founded in 1988 and operates inside a restored 1885 cotton gin, offering tastings and self-guided tours. The vineyard produces traditional, European-style wines—such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir—using barrel aging and classic Bordeaux/Burgundy techniques.
A quiet, private vacation rental located just outside Boerne and near Comfort. It’s a secluded 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin set on about 23 acres, designed for a peaceful getaway with features like a full kitchen, patio, fire pit, and scenic countryside views. The property sits next to Hill Country Pottery, a local artisan studio you can walk to. It’s highly rated by guests for its quiet atmosphere and location—close enough for day trips to Boerne or Fredericksburg, but far enough out for privacy, stargazing, and a true Hill Country experience.

Silouan, our winemaker & sommelier, believes that great wine comes from the symbiosis of nature and nurture. “The character of wine is defined by the character of the land and the character of the people.” We embrace Silouan’s philosophy of using non-interventionistic winemaking methods. This allows the character of the fruit to express itself, naturally. We believe we are making some of the best wine in Texas. In addition to our commitment to nature, we also honor our cultural heritage by celebrating Saint Tryphon, the patron saint of grape-growers. His feast day on February 1st is an important occasion for us, as we offer prayers for the upcoming growing season and reflect on the importance of balance and harmony in our winemaking process.
Come taste internationally award winning wines in tasting room is an 1885 cotton gin. Producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot wines, these wines are aged in 60 gallon oak barrels for up to three years with minimal filtration methods so the wines retain their fullest flavors.
